Apple just revealed that the Vision Pro headset is getting upgraded to an M5 chip.
The original Vision Pro launched in early 2024 with an older M2 chip, so it makes sense that Apple might want more powerful specs as it expands the device’s capabilities. Earlier this month, it announced live immersive sports on the device. The update also comes amid reports that Apple is switching gears toward smart glasses, as opposed to full-blown headsets like the Vision Pro.
